Top heavy organizations are often described as being 'all chiefs and no indians'. Such a pattern has now become the norm throughout much of the Western world and it is probably why we have stumbled into our current mess. Our whole management system is broken. The only way out is to start again and find an approach that includes valuing the 'indians' as well.

Our economy needs to pull out of the large corporate phase and recover through job creation led by new businesses.
Additionally, new businesses should be protected from being snapped up by large predatory corporations whose only aim is to stifle competition to enhance their own market share.
